Nice weather finally.

At least for a few days, meaning some more outdoor stuff could be worked on.  Inside, trim work and paint prep continues.

One more little shelf across the triangular space and these built-ins will be ready for installation and finish work.

The mantle is complete, except for caulking and painting of course.

Here are the sheets of lattice that will be installed across all of the openings below the porches.  It will be painted white like all the other trim.



Craig did some intermediate grading in order to get the porch within "no railing required" distance of the ground.  I believe code is 30" maximum between finished grade and porch surface, or you have to install (ugly & obstructive) railings.

Well pump got some attention too.  Not sure of the details, but it was plugged into a portable gas generator, so they must have lit it up for some reason.

Can't wait for this view to be of lawn!  But we're a long time from that. *sigh*
