The garage floor was filled, topped with 4" of washed stone, tamped, and covered with plastic sheeting. After the base was inspected and approved, the slab was poured (today, Oct 17th). The good folks from Tom's Concrete Finishing did some nice work completing it.
That's a lot of gravel. Not sure where it will be used.

I don't know why they covered only a small portion of the slab, but they must have had a reason. Right?
